Rotary International Peace Monument

The design development, engineering and construction management of a Civic Monument in Windsor sponsored by the Roseland Rotary to promote International Peace.

St. Leonard’s House Commemorative Window

The design an installation of a prominent, permanently backlit, stained glass Rose Window in the gabled wall of Scott Hall in Windsor to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the founding of St. Leonard’s House in Canada by All Saints’ Anglican Church.

The engineering, fundraising and construction management of the Field of Dreams statue, as part of a $3.9 Million MRI Campaign in Windsor, Ontario.

Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor and Essex County

The design development, engineering, project management and implementation of a monument in Jackson Park, Windsor, Ontario in tribute to the caring members of our community who provide moral and financial support to the victims of Alzheimer’s Disease and their families.

All Saints’ Anglican Church

Restoration of the circa 1852 All Saints’ Anglican Church in city Hall Square, Windsor, Ontario (Stair Turret, Main Roof Trusses, Rubble Stone Foundations, Bell and Bell Tower, Choir Loft Supports, Altar Clerestory Stained Glass Window and Interior Finishes, Tracery Window Replacements, etc.

Nazrey A.M.E. Church

The complete restoration of the circa 1848 Nazrey African Methodist Episcopal Church in Amherstburg, Ontario. (Subsequently, the first Black Historic Site to be designated a National Historic Site in Canada.)

Turkey Creek Pedestrian Bridge

The design and construction of a landmark 100 ft. span, cable-stayed pedestrian bridge in LaSalle modeled after a sailing ship and built with the help of 40 local high school, St. Clair College and University of Windsor students.

Titanic Stage Set

The design of a 40 ft. long by 8 ft wide tilting stage set at Cleary Auditorium in Windsor required by the Windsor Light Opera for the first production of the New York Musical outside the U.S.

Underground Railroad Monument

The engineering and construction management of a granite-faced pedestal as well as the structural details and installation of the artistic elements for a Civic Monument in Windsor to commemorate the significance of Windsor as a Station on the Underground Railroad for escaped slaves from Detroit.

Knights of Columbus Maidstone Pavilion

The design and inspection of a 40 ft. by 80 ft. pavilion and associated building improvements at the Maidstone Recreation Building and Meeting Hall for the Knights of Columbus in the Town of Lakeshore, Ontario.

Lanspeary Park – Lions Club Ice Rink

The design, inspection and project management of a $2.4 million public ice rink complete with a 20,000 SF Pavilion, washrooms and associated work for the Windsor Downtown Lions Club.

Restoration of Historic St. John’s Cemetery

The engineering and project management of a community-sponsored initiative to restore 200 vandal-damaged tombstones in the historic St. John’s Cemetery of old Sandwich Town in Windsor, Ontario.

St. Mark’s by-The-Lake Church

The structural engineering and supervision for the modifications of the balcony, to accommodate seating for a growing parish in St. Clair Beach, Ontario.

Restoration of Historic Harrow Cemetery

The engineering and project management required for the restoration of vandal-damaged tombstones and the installation of decorative fencing to preserve the historic grave sites of escaped slaves who settled in Essex County before the American Civil War Harrow, Ontario.

Constable John Atkinson Memorial Bridge

The sponsorship, design and construction of a Pro Bono pedestrian bridge to a spectacular lookout in the Detroit River in tribute to a member of the Windsor Police Force who died in the line of duty and the service of his community in May 2006. (2006)

 

Rural China Outreach

The organization and implementation of a volunteer outreach to design and build a model safe drinking water system, reconstruct a Medical Clinic and to set-up factories for the production of precast concrete and prefabricated metal building components and systems for 1500 villagers in an impoverished area of Linqu county, Shandon Province in support of Canada’s humanitarian aid efforts in rural China. (2001-ongoing)

Sagamok Anishnabek Economic Development Plan

Assisting the Chief and Band Council of this proud First Nation near Massey, Ontario, Canada to develop a sustainable and environmentally responsible economic development plan to improve the quality of life for their people while reinforcing their traditional, cultural and spiritual values.
